In this seminar, we will cover the changes made in brakes over the last 10 years. This includes the differences in ceramic, semi-metallic and organic type materials and what to sell your customers. We will also discuss servicing ABS, DRP (dynamic rear proportioning) and electronics related to the brake system and how to avoid creating problems. Diagnostic procedures concerning brake noise, brake pulls, low pedals and pulsating pedals will all be covered. The latest brake TSBs, tips and tricks will make servicing brakes more profitable with fewer come backs.


The Instructor: Dann Ingebritson

Dann Ingebritson began his career in the automotive industry 41 years ago. For the past 22 years, he has served as an instructor at Brake Parts Inc in McHenry, Illinois, performing brake, chassis and electronics clinics worldwide. Prior to his current position, he spent 19 years working as an automotive technician, foreman and shop owner. Ingebritson is ASE Certified, a GM Certified Master Technician and a CASE certified instructor. He is a member of NATAF and NACAT, and serves on the MAP advisory panel. His experience also includes authoring multiple articles for automotive trade magazines. Ingebritson earned an automotive repair degree from Chicago Trades Institute and certificate from Fayetteville Technical College.
